North Ringwood Playgroup is a place where tiny tots and preschoolers aged from newborn to five years old can socialise, play and learn.
Welcome to all our new and returning members at North Ringwood Playgroup!
The committee and attendants welcome you to Term 3!
What a fun Term 2! Along with Kiddie Kutter fundraiser and mother’s day raffle, members participated in our online survey. This is a fantastic way to provide feedback to the committee and attendants to hear what you are enjoying and benefitting from and ensuring we continue to make the playgroup the best it can be. In particular, was the positive comments for our two attendants Andrea and Mari. You both deserve the praise, thank you for your hard work. Our Vice President Michelle is collating the results and we will provide you with feedback for how the committee will follow up on any recommendations.
A massive thank you to all who participated in our inside working bee this Term. We were able to ensure our stock of toys were working and clean, as well as do a clean-up of the crafts and activities within our storeroom. On some exciting news we have launched a new Tiny Tots session this term. With sensory, motor and fine motor skill activities targeted towards the 0-1 age group.
This term we have many fun things planned, we are having a special visitors week, where we can bring someone special with us to Playgroup, a footy dress up day and the ever-popular Art on a Plate fundraiser. To celebrate Fathers’ day our incredible Fundraising officer, Emma, has made super hero mask and card kits!! Additionally, she secured two fantastic prizes that can be won just by purchasing one of the kits.
To update you about the Pick My Project grant, due to some unforeseen maintenance, the roof restoration will be pushed back to the Christmas holiday break. The work will begin on the stormwater drainage and electrical connection to ensure the grounds are safe and sustainable.
Thank you again to the supportive and dedicated committee members, I have so much fun and feel so involved in the community. For anyone who is interested in coming onto the committee and would love to be engaged in the running of the playgroup we have sub-fundraising roles and a maintenance role available.
A special shout out to Yarra Valley Races, Myer cookware, Maroondah Leisure and Luna Park who are all donating packages or items worth over $100 for our AGM raffle!!
I hope you have a wonderful Term 3,
